So since today was senior orientation, I'm going to share my back-to-school supplies
and things I consider absolutely necessary for a gal to have (and some tips too)!

(And yes, I made a HUGE effort to make all my stuff look cute!!!)
Yes, I got a binder for
EVERY
SINGLE
SUBJECT.
Before you begin with saying "Well, why didn't you just get one massive one?"
Well, you see, I colored-coded each subject so then when I write homework for each subject
on my calendar or my planner I'll know which is which!
(By the way, I'm VERY tempted to put a picture of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in my Archeology binder... Should I?)

I also got this for my Pre-Calculus binder -- I thought it'd be useful! (*fingers crossed*)
Okay, so not really much of a tip here but HAVE A HOMEWORK FOLDER!!!
(As you can see, I wrote "Homework", "To Do", and "Done".)
If you get lucky (like I did), get a cute one. It makes homework a tad bit more barable.

This year I decided to get my own yearbook because, well, Burke's aren't the best-looking ones
out there . . .
I also added little motivational quotes to each month in cute handwriting to make me feel better
during times of stress, which I'm sure will happen from time-to-time this year!

Besides the basics (pens, pencils, highlighters, ect.), I also got sticky notes and placed them in
a plastic baggie so then they don't get dirty.
I also got colored pens to go with my color-coded subjects!

This is al the stuff that I'm going to be putting in my locker:
(Besides books and such of course!)

This probably applies to more of the other curly girls out there, but this is to maintain the moisture in my hair! Magnets, a mirror, Paris-themed Kleenex... Pretty self-explanatory... . . . Um . . . . . . Yeah . . . . . . Gotta have 'em . . . | I often get headaches/migraines/cramps, so I made this with some funny advice from my mom written on paper. This locker shelving unit is SO useful. I had it last year and it helped me SO much! This is my mini "emergency" kit. It has band-aids of different sizes, safety pins, bobby pins, hairbands, lipgloss, chapstick, and anti-bacteral soap. |
So that's pretty much all my school supplies!
How about you guys? Any tips you'd like to share?
