Okay, I totally just made that up right now but seriously . . .
Society these days seem to be infected with a virus known as the cell phone . . .
I'll admit it, I have a lame cell phone and that's probably partly why
I am not diagnosed with Cellus Moblius Infecto.

But I still do not understand this mobile phenomena and, frankly, I am sick of it.

Let's take today for example.

This afternoon, while I was walking home from school, there was a woman in the smack middle
of the sidewalk. She was hunched over, staying there for a solid five or more minutes.
When I walked up to her to see what was the matter, I just groaned in frustration.

She was texting.
On her bleeping phone.

It wasn't too long until I had reached a crosswalk.

A woman next me was on Facebook, messaging some friend of her's.
When the light changed, she didn't even take notice.
In fact, she kept on IMing until the walking man turned back into the hand.

My English teacher sees it as a way people these days "write
their own narrative".

But whatever you put it as, it is unsafe and just plain annoying!

Unsafe? You may ask. Well, once one of my brothers fell of his bike
and he got hit by car. He wouldn't have if the stupid driver wasn't texting!

And if you still don't think it's bad, check this out:
